Crispy Veggie Burger Recipe

Crispy Veggie Burger is a satisfying and flavorful plant-based patty made from a blend of vegetables, legumes, and spices, coated and fried or baked until golden and crunchy. Veggie Patty Mixture

1/3 Cup rice flakes

1 Tablespoon oil

1 Tablespoon butter

1/2 Medium size onion chopped

1 Tablespoon garlic

1/3 Cup French beans chopped

1/3 Cup carrot chopped

1/3 Cup green peas boiled

1-2 NOS green chilies finely chopped

Powdered Spices

1/2 Tablespoon turmeric powder

1 Tablespoon red chili powder

2 Tablespoon dry mango powder

1 Tablespoon cumin powder

A pinch of garam masala

5-6 medium boiled potatoes

Salt to taste

A handful of fresh coriander leaves

Step:1

You can start by first soaking the poha , to that take the poha rice flakes in the strainer , rinse with fresh water and let it rest for couple of minute . Once it’s soaked , mash it and keep it aside to be us later

Step:2

Now , set a pan on medium heat , add oil and butter , let the butter melt and further add onions , and garlic , stir and coo on medium high flame until the onions turn translucent . Now , add the French beans , carrots , boiled green peas and green chilies , stir and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes

Step:3

Now , low down the heat and add the powdered spices , stir well , further grated and add the boiled potatoes and salt to taste , cook on medium high flame while mixing and mashing the potatoes

Step:4

Further add the soaked and mashed poha and freshly chopped coriander leaves . Use a potato masher to lightly mash and combine the mixture well . Further switch off the flame and remove the mixture in a bowl and allow it cool down to room temperature . Once it cool down , cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for 12-15 minutes . Keep it in the refrigerator to shape the patties

For Making The Crispy Veggie Patty Ingredients

1 Cup refined flour

1/2 Cup corn flour

Salt to taste

As needed cold water

1 Tablespoon oil

As needed bread crumbs

Veggies patty mixture

Oil for frying

Step:1

Start form making the batter , take a big size mixing bowl , add maida , corn flour and salt , mix well and add cold water as needed and oil whisk well to make a semi thick lump free batter . Further take a wide bowl , add bread crumb as needed to coat the tikki , season the bread crumbs with salt and black pepper

Step:2

Now , take the cooled veggies patty mixture , take a spoonful of mixture and shape it like a ball , further press it shape to make like a tikki , make sure the size of the tikki should be little smaller than your burger buns . Further , dip and coat shaped tikki in the batter and immediately coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs . Shape and coat all the patties in same way

Step:3

Set oil for frying on medium heat , deep fry the coated tikki in hot oil on medium flame until its crisp and golden brown . Your crispy veggie burger patty is ready

Assembly Ingredients

Butter for toasting the burger buns

As needed burger buns Mayonnaise

Fresh lettuce

Step:1

Set a pan on medium heat , add little butter and toast the burger facing on the inside until its toasted well and golden brown in colour . Place the top bun first , apply little mayonnaise further add the shredded letuce , place the crispy veggie patty and now place the battom but , turn upside down and your crispy veggie burger is ready

Step:2

You can tweak the additional of the ingredients as per your preference . Consume it quickly to enjoy the crispy veggie burger
