Paneer Roll Recipe

Ingredients For Paneer
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon oil
300 Gram paneer diced
Salt to taste A pinch black pepper
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/4 Tablespoon mustard seeds
3/4 Cup mayonnaise
1/2 Cup curd
Salt a pinch
A pinch black pepper powder
1/4 Tablespoon vinegar
4 Garlic cloves grated
1 Tablespoon sugar mustard powder
Live charcoal
Ghee
As needed oil
2 Large size onion sliced
Assembly
Hot dog bun
Butter soft
Lettuce
Spring green onion
Step:1
Set a wok or a deep pan over high flame and let it get hot , then add butter and oil and let it heat up as well

Then add the diced paneer , salt and pepper , and toss the paneer over high flame for 3-4 minutes then transfer it into a bowl

In a small mixer grinder jar add sugar and mustard seeds and grind it into a fine powder , you can also use a mortar pestle

Then add the mayonnaise , curd , salt , black pepper powder and the remaining ingredients of the filling in a bowl and whisk it well

Place a small bowl on the filling and place a piece of live charcoal in it , then add a spoonful of ghee and cover the bowl with a lid and let the filling smoke for 3-4 minutes

Then remove the lid and discard the charcoal safely and mix gently , your smoked creamy paneer filling is ready

Set a deep pan over high flame and pour in the oil to fry the onions , heat the oil until it gets moderately hot

Add the sliced onion into the oil and stir well , fry the onions until they turn light golden brown while stirring them frequently , you will need to adjust the flame as the onions starts to change their colour , make sure that the temperature is not too high or else the onions will fry from the outside but won’t lose their moisture which will result into soggy birista

Once the onion are almost about to turn light golden brown , remove them form the hot oil using a spider and aqueeze out the excess oil by pressing it using a spatula then transfer the fried onions into a tissue paper lined plate and spread them apart using forks , dab them from the top using a tissue paper if needed to remove all the remaining excess il

Your crispy birista is ready . To assemble the roll , cut open the hot dog bun and apply soft butter . Then add shredded lettuce , smoked paneer filling birista and spring onion greens . Your delicious smoked creamy paneer roll is ready serve it and enjoy
