Vegetable Dalia is a nutrition and wholesome . It is made from broke wheat (Dalia) , vegetable , and some spices it is the popular Indian breakfast option that is not only delicious but also provides a good balance of carbohydrate , protein and fiber the combination of vegetables add color and texture to this dish . You can serve it with curries or with yogurt (curd)

Vegetable Dalia or Daliya Khichadi or Broken Wheat Khichdi with tomato, green peas and chilli, served in a bowl or plate

Ingredients

1/5 Cup broken wheat (Dalia)

1 Chopped onion

1 Tablespoon oil

1/2 Tablespoon cumin seed

2 Cup mixed vegetable

As needed salt

1/2 Tablespoon turmeric powder

1/2 Tablespoon red chili powder

As needed coriander leaves

2 Cup water

Step:1

Heat the oil in presser cooker add cumin seed and chopped onion mix well and cook

Step:2

Add the mix chopped vegetable and saute for few minutes

Step:3

Add the broken wheat (Dalia) , water , as needed salt , red chili powder , turmeric powder

Step:4

Cook for 4-5 whistles or until the Dali is cooked

Step:5

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve it with curries or with yogurt (curd) and enjoy the vegetable Dalia
