How To Make Rava Dhokla Recipe

Ingredients

1 Cup rava

1 Cup thick curd

1/3 Tablespoon sugar

1/2 Tablespoon ginger , grated

1/2 Tablespoon green chili paste

4 Tablespoon oil

1/5 Cup water as needed

As needed salt

1 Tablespoon ENO

1 Tablespoon musted seed

1/2 Tablespoon cumin seed

1/2 Tablespoon sesame seed

A pinch of hing (asafoetida)

As needed curry leaves

2 Green chili , slit

2 Tablespoon copped coriander leaves

Step:1

In a bowl take rava and curd , add sugar , chopped ginger grated salt and green chili paste

Mix well to form a thick batter . Rest for 30 minutes

Add water as needed and mix well

Add ENO . Mix gently till the batter turns frothy

Transfer to the greased pan plate and steam the dhokla batter for 12 minutes

Take the pan for tempering and pour 2 tablespoon oil

Then add musted seeds , cumin , sesame seed and hing

Once the musted seeds splutter add curry leaves and green chili

Saute for 1-2 minutes and spread this tempering over prepared dhokla . Sprinkle coriander leaves cut the dhokla into pieces serve it and enjoy the rava dhokla
